Hey guys. I know I promised you more posts but I'm not sure how well I'm gonna be able to deliver on that promise. It's not that I don't want to, it's that I didn't realize how busy these last few weeks of the semester were gonna have me but on the bright side I only have a week left so then I'll be back in full force! Now onto what I should have done yesterday but I was too busy designing a house to do.
The past two weeks (since the first one was a fluke due to the fact I didn't update the question) there was a vote between mutants and cyborgs going on. Well mutants ended up grabbing the victory and making it into the finals! Woohoo for mutants!
Now for the final round I decided to make this round officially be two weeks of voting because I'm also figuring that when I start posting a lot more next week that maybe it'll draw some more attention here and therefore increase the number of votes as well so voting for the next round will last until May 11th. And the entities that you will be voting for (if you don't remember) are Ninjas and Mutants!
So get voting while I get to working on these papers for class and I promise I'll see you real soon!
I'm a game blogger. I'm not quite sure what that means but I'm figuring it out, give me time. I will get better at this. Also I have a YouTube channel as well. I dunno, it could be fun. Join the party!

Slowly but surely...
So my channel is definitely improving in my eyes at least. I don't know how you feel about it but I'm enjoying myself. And I finally got a face cam going!! :D YAY!! I think that's cause for celebration!
....But I don't know how I want to celebrate. And I had a lot of ideas for this post but I'm running out of ideas.
So instead I'm gonna say that I have test ran a few more games that I'm gonna review and also I'm planning on talking about some games I'm nostalgic about so I should be posting more often now than I have been recently.
See you all soon! Buh bye now!

Attack The Titans
So let me just get address what has been on my mind since my last post. I never did get the chance to write the full post like I wanted to so I'm hoping you all went to my YouTube channel and saw the video that I posted which says pretty much everything that I was planning to say in that post.
Now, moving on to another Game Review (finally)
So recently I've been diving into the mobile gaming platform more than I'd like to admit. But I'm very picky with my mobile games. I've found a few flops but through my digging I found this gem that I wasn't able to just toss to the side. It's called Titan Tap and it is a beautiful made game. It is a two dimensional game and you don't even move. You just kill these monsters called Titans and every tenth Titan is a boss.
As you kill Titans you gain money which you can use to upgrade your character and hire/upgrade allies to help you defeat these Titans. And once you upgrade your character enough you gain the option to prestige which starts you back at level 1 with nearly everything reset but you gain a certain amount of a second currency called relics which you keep even when you prestige and you can use relics to buy certain bonuses that you keep even when you prestige.
Also periodically (usually at least once per week) there is a worldwide tournament where if you choose to participate you are forced to prestige even if you don't have that option yet. Then you earn a ranking depending on how many bosses you beat in a twenty four hour period.
Overall I really enjoy this game because even though it is simplistic and repetitive it still manages to keep things fresh and fun. If you find yourself having lots of free time (or just a few 15 minute breaks throughout the day) I'd recommend trying this game out because it's fun but you don't need to sit down for an hour at a time.
This has been yet another Mythical review, thanks for reading and I'll see you next time. Cheers! *clink*

It's 12:45 right now so I'm gonna get some sleep because I can hear you shouting at me to go to bed but I just need to tell you that I just posted a video and later today I'm gonna write a post about the Monday update and now I also have some games to write about so this week I'm gonna start getting back into the swing of things! This is already longer than I planned it to be and I just heard thunder so I'm gonna post this now and go to bed just in case I lose power. This way you at least know what I'm writing now that I want you to know!
Cheers! And long live the Myth! (I dunno which I wanna use but it's gotta be one or the other) Anywhoodles buh bye now! BYE!

Apology time
I'm noticing a decrease in reliable pageviews and I guess that makes sense considering that I'm not posting very often. Maybe once or twice a week. And I apologize for that. I've had schoolwork up the bum bum so I've just been very busy making sure that I don't lose any of the scholarship money that I do have. I'm starting to get a bit more relaxed on the schoolwork side and also the semester is near ending so I'm imagining that I'll be picking up the post count to anywhere from 3 to 5 posts per week and then when the semester ends in early may I should be back to posting every day again!
Long Live the Myth! (Oh I like that. I'm glad I came up with that just now. I'm gonna use it!) Well thanks for understanding and if you don't then you need to put this through Google Translate, or get a heart...or both. I'll see you real soon. Bye!

BZZT! ....fuck.
Well I would have had this and the video update out sooner but life got in the way. And by life, I mean someone crashed into a telephone pole which cause a power outage in my area. (Don't worry, the driver was fine.) But now I have to write this up at school in the middle of class, but again don't worry. I'll stay out of trouble. However this will be a rather short right up seeing as the professor just arrived.
So in short, last week's match up was a blow- out again. 3 to 0 in favor of Ninjas, and this week is Mutants versus Cyborgs. Have at it! And I'll see you next time!

The Grèn(Green) Air-oh(Arrow)
So I'm guessing he did it as self promotion under the guise of interest, wait..I'm getting ahead of myself. The creator of a mobile game contacted me on Instagram (or rather said that one of my pictures was "neat") and I think he did it just to get me to notice his game. Quite honestly he probably wasn't even targeting me, he probably just went to the gamer hashtag and commented on random photos, but I'd like to imagine he specifically came to me. (I swear I'm not full of myself)
So anyway, I went to his profile after he commented and that's when I found out he had made a game and was self promoting. The name of his game is "Arrow Ambush" and I know it's in the Google Play Store although I don't know if it's in the ITunes store or not. (That's just in case you want to check it out yourself)
So I humored him and checked out his game. Now I'm here to be the game critic that I've (not) been trained to be.
You can very easily tell that this was one of this person's very first games and that it was also most likely a single person rather than a team because the layout is very basic, rather than similar games that have artwork and graphic designs that are made to draw the player's eye to specific areas of the screen. But for a game designer's first game it is decent. Basic, but decent.
The point of the game is to shoot arrows (by tapping anywhere on the screen) at a target area which is spinning. If you hit any arrows that are already in the target, then you lose. So it is a simplistic game, but it has potential if it is worked on and improved. My first change would be the art. I'm sorry that I'm acting so serious about the art but people don't really realize how seriously colors and lines can affect what people notice and are drawn to.
As I was playing, I noticed that my eyes, no matter where I forced them to look, drifted back towards the center of the screen. That's perhaps the worst spot for them, because the target is above that, and the arrow you're about to shoot is below that so you're focus is drawn to a point that is irrelevant to the game itself. I find that to be a huge drawback from the gameplay because if you have trouble focusing on the actual aspects of the game, how are you supposed to enjoy playing the game?
Another complaint I have is that this person needs to get more specific with hit boxes. For those of you that may not know what I meant, hit boxes are the area around object in a game that the program checks to see if anything is happening to that entity. Let's take a common game entity, a human. Picture a human in your head, in any stance you'd like. Now draw a rectangle around the human so that every part of the body is included. Just one rectangle. If that was a hit box in a game, then if an arrow was shot at your human, as long as the arrow made it in the box, it would count as a hit, even if the arrow didn't hit the body itself. (I'm not sure if I did a good enough job explaining hit boxes. If I didn't let me know and I'll dedicate an entire blog post to them)
That's what's happening in this game. The hit boxes on the arrows are slightly too big, so if you time it just right to get two arrows next to each other, as close as possible without touching it reads as if you hit the arrow and you fail. So the hit boxes could be a little more fine tuned than they currently are.
But that's not to say that this game is bad! It certainly has potential. The developer just needs to keep working on it and it could easily become a great game! Just keep improving.
Well this has been another Mythical Review (I'm to pick up the pace of these, and maybe video reviews too in the future. But neither of those will happen until after this semester ends, some point in mid-May so just stick with me! I'm not giving up on this!) Thanks for reading, and I will see you guys next time! Buh Bye!!!!

Semi-finals plus looking for requests.
So Monday has come again. A most dreaded day that ends the weekend and begins another hard working week. Also, coincidentally, the day that marks a new round of battle between two fictional character types on a blog and YouTube channel about video games. So let's talk about that since that's a good distraction from the hodge podge boredom of the every day.
Last week we had Robots matched up against Cyborgs and I'm extremely happy to say that this week has the highest amount of voters yet.......THREE!!! Woohoo!
...It's kinda sad how excited I am, but hey thank you for voting! You're making me happy!
But I digress..It's time to announce the results of last week's match-up.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE! (It's funny cause my brother is practicing his drums right now...har har har)
And the winner is.......

And the winner is.......
CYBORGS!
Congratulations to the human/robot hybrids of the world! You've won the first round of a tournament that most people probably don't even know about!
The final vote count was 3 votes for cyborgs and no votes for robots, apparently we think that robotics should always have a human aspect to it to keep them from taking over the world.
Now for this weeks match up we are returning to past winners in the semi finals of this tournament. So we are having the winner of week one face off with the winner of week two. In case you don't remember what they were here's a refresher.
Week one the winner was ninjas, and week two it was vampires.
That means that this week is Ninjas versus Vampires! So get voting and drag your friends and family into it too. I made my brother vote (against his will, but he still voted). So get voting please!?
Also, since we are nearing the end of our first tournament, I'm looking for suggestions on what/who should be in the next tournament. There are no bad ideas! Feel free to contact me in any way! Thanks!! :)
This has been a weekly tournament update, thanks for reading and I'll see you next time!! Buh bye!!

Vanish...ing (I dunno)
Foraying into the big open world of face-cam videos of course I had to explore the world of horror games. So the very first one I downloaded to play was a small indie project called "Vanish" (Hence the title) and I have to say, it was decent.
Right out of the gate I got startled by one of their jumpscare tactics that isn't even a danger to the player in game. But once I got into the game then it became a tad less frightening , but I account that to the fact that I've already seen a lot of gameplay footage of it and knew what to expect. So it may have affect my reaction to the game.
However overall it is still a good game. The scares are pretty much on point, the atmosphere is very creepy, and the monsters are very disturbing. The random generation of the map is very disorienting and frustrating, especially since the map doesn't make sense since the only part of the map that is truly set is what you can see and very little beyond that. But it is still a good game so if you're looking for a creepy game with a few scares to kind of ease your way into the horror game scene, the I belive Vanish is a good game for you.
